The RollerCoaster Design competitions challenge players to design the best ride they can within special competition scenarios.

The latest competition has closed but a new contest will begin very soon.

COMPETITION OVERVIEW & PRIZES
Objective: Build the best steel twister coaster ride you can.
Prizes: 1st prize - "RollerCoaster" the book by David Bennett detailing many of the world's rollercoasters plus RCT mouse mat and poster. 2nd & 3rd prizes - RCT exclusive poster signed by Chris Sawyer and mouse mat.

A SPECIAL JUDGE

Our judge for the Steel Twister competition was:

John Wardley,
Professional Ride Designer.

He was responsible for designing "Oblivion", the world's first vertical drop roller coaster as well as developing the world-renowned Nemesis Roller Coaster (both at Alton Towers in the UK). In addition, he designed the "Stampida" wooden racing roller coaster at Port Aventura in Spain - the largest ride of its type in the world allowing two adult and one junior tracks to race each other simultaneously.
